Frequently Asked Questions

Q. I’m new to Judo. Do you cater to beginners?

Yes, we cater for Junior & Senior beginners–Junior & Senior classes are held at the same time, on different mats.

Q. I’d like to attend a trial class

We offer Free trials for your first two classes–You can attend our classes that run every Tuesday & Thursday evenings. Classes start at 7pm. We recommend arriving at 6.45pm for briefings/preparations.

Q. Do I need to buy a Judogi

Once you have had your trial sessions and we both decide Judo is the Sport for you, we recommend you to purchase a Gi as soon as possible. You should purchase a white GI as your initial outfit. Further into your training, you could buy a Blue GI as an alternative.

Subsequent fees are Seniors $100.00 and Juniors $80.00 per annum.

Our Club is a Member of Judo Victoria and Judo Australia
